I thread Water into drops.
I sieve Water into thoughts.

I palm Water in Kohl.
I cleave Water in smudges.

I seek the lair of Water;
Day, the day after.

I am the Water Witch.

  1. The light I saw and mistook for trapped,
    danced on the robe of her stream.
    The stones and dirt that lay in the way
    she gathered along in glee
    She paved her ways in no man's land
    flowing, as she hummed gently
    Shapeless, with a touch of velvet
    blind to the thirsty's creed
    Like a fish I writhe where humans live
    Devour me, in thy waters, I plead.
